I had a lightning strike my home and it knocked out power to several outlets, a TV and television boxes.Power was restored and the technician kept me informed on everything he had done. Preferred home replaced my hot water heater today. The technician was Parker who showed up in a big way by being professional in performing his job today. They were able to move the hot water heater from a crawl space to my basement. During the job today they found the reason I had low water pressure and fixed it. I was having trouble unclogging my kitchen sink . After trying home remedies without success I call Preferred Home Services. I’ve used their services in the past and was always satisfied. Today technician Matthew was sent to address my plumbing issues. He was able to address my issues and concerns. Matthew explained pricing up front and was able to complete work today with me benefiting from today special. My emails and phone calls were answered quickly to try to get my ancient ac system working until it can be replaced. Michelle tried to get a tech to my house as soon as possible. Wesley spotted the problem immediately and it's still running now which is all I can ask of my system. He also took the time to explain which type of system would work for me. Hopefully, I can get it replaced quickly.

Preferred home services always does a great job with our plumbing, electrical and HVAC needs. The service techs are super knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and not pushy. Griffin came to do biannual maintenance on our HVAC, showed and explain in easy to understand terms what he did, what he saw and what needed repair or upgrades. He listed the items he found in order of priority and wasn't pushy when I declined to schedule prior to him leaving. Once we decided, he came and did a great job, again sharing his work in friendly manner. He is super nice, polite and friendly; will request him to be our HVAC service tech again!

He explained my options clearly, explained the pros and cons or each one, and then did an outstanding job on the project. dispatching and customer service with this company are also responsive and helpful

The technician explained how my system was running and options that I can have installed for peak performance.

We had several alarms on our AC control panel. Called Preferred and they sent a technician out the very next day. The technician (Ray Jackson) showed up on time a completed a thorough total system check. Provided detailed feedback and offered excellent tips on preventive maintenance strategies. Always 5 Star service with Preferred. Ancient Water Heater was found to have leaked mid morning. Tech was dispatched and arrived within 2hrs, and new water heater was installed the same afternoon. Joe was a pleasure to work with and went above expectations to offer options to avoid cutting drywall, and took a trip to Lowe's to get me a smaller size drip pan after the one delivered was a bit big for my space. Couldn't be happier with services provided.

Nick Was great. I had a kitchen drain blockage that was severe. For the $69 drain cleaning he was able to Clear that drain and restore all home draining flowing well. There were a lot of services that he made me aware of being recommendable, but he was not pushy towards me completing a larger service on his visit.

Our technician, Ola, was very thorough and clearly explained all of his findings. He was able to do an emergency temporary fix on our unit to tide us over and did a great job explaining what is urgent and what can wait so we can make informed decisions. We didn’t feel pressured or “sold” to since all of the findings had clear pictures and videos.

Jacob did a wonderful job. Spent time In cleaning our AC package units. The funny smells disappeared so far and hoping it stay that way forever. Thank you Jacob for providing us the results we expected for both units.

The tech, Adam, took a few minutes to establish a rapport with me before getting down to business and checking out my a/c unit. He found that the compressor was pulling too much current at startup. He took care of it and showed me the difference on his meter. He also took care of one other minor issue.

Chase did a great job cleaning the blower motor of our unit! Took motor out and cleaned and disinfected it! Well worth the money! He also is super pleasant to deal with - such a calm nature that by dogs did not even bark once the whole time he was there. Hole if I need this service again , he will still be available!

Great service from ola!!!

Had Preferred Home Services out for a major plumbing project — new Navien tankless, Halo H2zero Ultimate whole-house filtration, Caleffi pressure-reducing valve, and a sediment polishing filter. From the initial diagnosis with Maddie to the install crew on the day of, the whole experience was professional and thorough. Maddie took the time to walk through every issue — vibrating PRV, undersized tankless, low pressure, and sediment — and laid out options without pressure. The install crew showed up on time, worked clean, and the finished plumbing layout is genuinely well done. They added isolation ball valves throughout, which means I'll never have to shut down the whole house for routine filter changes or service. That's the kind of detail that separates a real plumber from a parts-swapper. The hot water delivery is dramatically better, pressure is finally where it should be, and the kitchen faucet that used to take two minutes for hot water is now near-instant. Pricing was fair for the quality of equipment and workmanship, and the bundling made the math work. Will absolutely use them again. Ask for Maddie

Repaired a leaking toilet that was messing up the ceiling below. The came by quickly and repaired it quickly.

Jacob and Brandon made the Sunday visit to fix a leaking water line under a bathroom vanity. Did a great job with repair and also pointed out areas where we made other updates to the tankless water heater. They provided excellent service and would recommend for responsiveness on a holiday weekend.

Joe Naumann is an expert of his craft! Very professional and efficient leaky sink diagnosis. He even gave us a spare gasket and nut so my wife and I could continue our DIY! 100% recommend Joe every time for plumbing.

We recently had plumbing work done, and the technician was outstanding. He quickly diagnosed the issue and developed a practical, cost-effective plan to solve it. It turns out the person who installed our TOTO toilet nearly 20 years ago used a commercial supply valve in a residential home. The toilet had been showing signs of electronic failure for several months, and it finally stopped working altogether. The technician (Turner Long) took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and provided options for moving forward. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail gave us confidence that the problem was being addressed correctly. We greatly appreciate the excellent service and would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

Had my tankless water heater flushed. The service was great, and the technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He even looked at the water pressure and advised me on options to help fix it. The price was better than other companies I reached out to as well.

Technician Caleb Miller diagnosed a refrigerant HVAC issue that he repaired. His subject matter expertise was 5-Star. He explained all the issues and how they were being resolved. May need a follow up in a couple of weeks.

We decided to make the recommended changes. John was able to do all the work during the visit. Very friendly, great work. Would recommend. Clint with plumbing came by a few days ago as well. He was awesome. Knowledgeable and willing to help however needed. Both John and Clint will be getting business from us again!

I want to thank the technician for coming on time and earlier than most. He came with a great attitude and desire to do a great job. !. We talked briefly about the situation and this made trouble shooting easier; because when you gather your information it helps pinpoint where the problem is.He knew his job and he had confidence. The technicians that installed our new AC unit were professional, conscientious, polite, and provided great communication throughout the multiple hour appointment. Connor and Lucas encountered unexpected issues with our install but that did not deter them from providing excellent customer service and quality work. Jesse took care of the plumbing, the septic tank upgrade and vents. Justin took care for the financing side with explanations and various options to choose from, very impressive. As for Grayson and Ben, they changed the whole complete HVAC system from top to bottom with upgrade and improvements in ONE day. The attic awful heat that they were facing, did not deter them. The following day I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan an HVAC technician who came by to replace a faulty thermostat from the manifacturer. Boy did I learn a few things from him and about him. Matt came to our house last week to diagnose a problem with our Toto toilet (constantly running, tank not filling). The parts required to fix were expensive, so he recommended replacing - helped with new options. We purchased a Kohler - he and Mac came this morning to do the installation. They were prompt, careful, and cleaned up when they were finished. They diagnosed and fixed a problem with the flange (installed when house was built), saving us the cost of a new one. They also took the old toilet away for us. We are raving fans of Preferred - your services, and especially your employees - so excellent all around!

Scheduling was incredibly easy - they gave me the option of phone call or text. Happened quickly and efficiently. Within a couple of days, the technician Turner came to the house and stayed the day to fix a leak, and upgrade the whole house cutoff valve and outdoor faucets. The end result is absolutely great.
