Sage and Alex came out today to give us a quote on maintenance and flushing for a tankless hot water heater. We also had other questions about why it took so long to get the hot water to the faucets and if there was anything we could do. They offered a solution that was not mentioned by any other company we have spoken to. They were very knowledgeable, polite and not trying to just make a sale. We ended up going with their service. It was refreshing to meet these two gentlemen.

Out first floor toilet was gurgling so we called to have it checked. Turned out there was a blockage in one of the pipes to the street. Quickly taken care of by Joe, who was awesome - he’s a great ambassador for your company!

My technician, Freddie, was amazing! He explained everything to me before he did the work. I had to have a new junction box installed and a new light fixture. I also needed a surge protector installed in my breaker box that I didn’t realize I needed. I won’t hesitate to call Preferred Home Services in the future should I need them!

2 BR 2 Bath complete slab (patio) home repipe. Extremely happy with the project results and the professionalism, communication, consideration, respect, and customer service from this company throughout the project and the first class crew that made it happen. Johnny Galivan was project estimator and manager. Nicholas Coley was journeyman licensed plumber lead with Adam and Gabe rounding out the Greer SC based crew. Jeane Robinson from Charleston offices handled the scheduling and financing. All were great and so was the work. 37 year old copper and PB piping (standard 1975 to 1995) was replaced with PEX piping complete from the meter and throughout the home including proper PRV station, shutoff valves, and access panels. I was concerned with amount of drywall patching that could be required with a job like this and the team was fantastic at keeping that to a minimum. Cold weather concerns were addressed with insulation and replacement pipe routing. Preferred Home Services labor and materials warranty also helps ease that concern. Johnny gave me fair and competitive pricing for the work and good advice as I made my decision between Preferred and a less expensive local (smaller) plumber I considered. If considering a similar large project BE SURE personnel and the job lead is licensed! Many smaller plumbing companies can perform the work under the owners license but be aware that potential future insurance coverage (such as a pipe burst) may not be covered if repipe work was not DIRECTLY performed by a licensed plumber, (depending on your insurance). Also drywall work would have been much more extensive and costly with the small plumber option. If you are contemplating a planned or emergency whole home repipe due to old piping age or failures, I highly reccomend you consider this company and crew!

Had a leaking faucet. They came out the same day and repaired the leak. The technician explained options and prices before doing the repair.

Finally a company that cares about the customer. Very friendly person who I spoke to on phone. She was very helpful and made me feel they cared and would get a technician to fix my heating system. February 2023 update: I had my AC and heating system replaced. James, Raymundo, and their crew arrived on time and explained exactly what would take place. I was very impressed that the first thing they did was protect my floors. They kept me informed throughout the day and kept the work area neat. They performed all tests upon completion and explained the operation of the new system thoroughly. Professional job all around. I highly recommend Preferred Home Services!

Had somewhat of an emergency plumbing issue, that we thought had been resolved based on prior service from other companies (not Preferred Home Services), and they were able to come out within an hour. Dee took his time to correctly diagnose the issue and was able to resolve the same day.
