Today I met Mr. Scott Hawkins he came by to help me with my AC and in 5 mins I gained a friend and a brother he was so nice and friendly I felt like I knew him for years we need more people in this world like Mr Scott and he fixed my AC but the best part of him coming out was our conversation and mr Scott just know you have a friend in me and thank you so much for being so courteous and friendly!👊🏿💯

Stevan was awesome. I appreciate the consideration for my pets. My ac condenser is from 1986 so probably older than Stevan, but it didn’t deter his ability to problem solve and get us up and running again. Another company booked me a appt, then said they were overbooked and cancelled my appt the next day when I declined talking to the manager about financing a new unit and after waiting until 9pm and requesting an update on if a tech would still make it out.When I am able to replace the unit Stevan has convinced me Preferred is the company to go with.

What am amazing job Mr.Matt has done. Full of knowledge and explained the process of changing out water heater. It was done pretty quickly. He was super friendly and explained how to keep the maintenance of our water heater up to par. Would definitely recommend Matt for again. Went far and beyond because he saved me money on my lawn mower as well...😁😁😁

What matters most when air conditioning stops working in July is getting somebody to deal with it fast. I phoned Friday about 7:00 PM, and on Saturday a tech fixed my ancient HVAC system well enough so I could get by until they could install a complete new HVAC system. That was a miracle. The new system was working on Wednesday afternoon.

Had plumbing issues on Friday night. Was able to schedule after 8 PM for early on Saturday. Technician, Will Smith, was incredibly professional and fixed the problem so quickly I’m so thankful for this company and all of the staff members. Can’t say enough good things about this company and their field force

Technican was absolutely awesome he was there for 5 hours troubleshooting and had the ac running when he left. He was very nice and kept us informed every step of the way. Preferred honored the warranty and I realized why I chose them to put my system in 1 year ago. I highly recommend them and if Alex Coronel happens to be your technician you will be in good hands.

We had two pipes burst in a matter of two weeks and Mike L. came out immediately both times to save the day. He was truly a knight in shining armor and took great care of us during two really stressful moments. He was super knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. He got us on the schedule immediately for a full home repipe. Ben’s squad showed up a day later and got to work! Chris H., Bryan T., Garrett D., Porter B., Mac C., and Travis S. were absolute rockstars. They worked together like a well oiled machine. They were professional, meticulous, neat, polite, friendly, and perfectionists. You want these guys working on your house. We’ve had a lot of contractors do work for us over the years and these guys are by far the best we’ve ever seen across all trades. Part of our project required some drywall to be cut out, and when they left, there was not a speck of drywall dust in sight. In fact, I think they might have left my house cleaner than when they arrived. We thought it was going to be a multi-day job, but they pushed through and got the project done in one day. We were floored! Preferred Home Services has a loyal customer for life. They took all the stress out of the process. Hire these guys. You won’t regret it.

Today's experience with their PHENOMENAL Technician Ben with Preferred Home Services, was TRULY AMAZING!! Ben, is a Very Personable, Extremely Attentive and Genuinely Concerned Young Man. He diagnosed the problem with my HVAC Unit, in less than 10 minutes. He took his time explaining the function and also the malfunction of the part that needed to be replaced (the capacitor).. I didn't interrupt him as he was explaining it, and I did not dare tell him anything about my professional and/or academic background. I was a Physics Major and also an Astrophysics Major in college. Finally, I must say this: why bother with the others, when Preferred Home Services can get and keep your HVAC Unit(s) and any other home services that they provide repaired or replaced? You WILL be Completely Satisfied. We have been COMPLETELY SATISFIED with PREFERRED HOME SERVICES FOR MANY YEARS, now!!

My AC unit stopped cooling last night I called preffred home services and scheduled an appointment for first thing in the morning, they were out here on time and fixed my unit in no time, I also signed up for there yearly inspection so this doesn't happen again. We had Preferred Home Services come to our home to do an annual check on our HVAC system. The repairman they sent, Ben Marlowe, did an excellent job. I recently had separate, unrelated plumbing and HVAC needs and I couldn’t possibly be more thankful for their help. Both technicians were incredibly polite and informative in a way that made me feel 100% confident in their work. It’s not easy to find service you can trust and I’m so thankful I found that with both Turner and Ola. On Ola’s second visit he brought Ethan who was equally polite and helpful. Also shoutout to Hailey in the office who is so patient and helpful with scheduling. Thank you all SO much!

Justin demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. He promptly identified the root cause of the problem and restored our HVAC system to full functionality without delay. Furthermore, he conducted a comprehensive inspection, including the external unit and all thermostats. Our A/C went out yesterday right as we were about to start Bible study and we weren’t sure why. We called Preferred and they were able to send Caleb Miller out today. It was that the drain was clogged and the pan filled with water causing the unit to shut off. Caleb did an amazing job cleaning up all the water, unclogging the drain pipe and making some adjustments to limit it from happening again!! Thank you Caleb for your wonderful service today!!

Our AC went out when our thermostat died.Caleb ran tons of tests to be sure it was in fact the thermostat and confirmed it was the issue. He ran out to the thermostat supplier late in the afternoon to be sure he could get the new part installed the same day so we would have our AC back up and running. He also took extra time to clean our intake coils on the heat pump. Amazing service!

Ben was amazing!. He was here within about 30 minutes after we made the service call. He talked us through everything he did. He gave us pointers what to be looking for and he fixed our issue. I highly recommend using the company and also for sure Ben Marlow.

My technician LB did a great job on my AC . IT was plugged and he cleared it and got me up and running. He brought to my attention the light bulb that kills mold and bacteria was out and we replaced it. My air vent insulation has been deteriorating LB brought it to my attention. I feel really comfortable now. Good show .

Jesse the tech was amazing. He explained everything in detail and was very professional.

Jay was great to work with and very straightforward. Our system was running well ( we had just replaced the capacitor) but he explained that whenever they installed the new system another return should have been put in (3.5 ton unit and we only had 12x25 return). Basically with our return that only services 1000 sf, but our home is a little over double that so it wasn’t sufficient. It also was not enough CFM for the unit in general so it was putting extra strain on the system. We will likely need to cut into the floor for a new return so it was not able to be resolved today but he told us about a few budget options like getting a split unit but would see if they could get a quote for us on the other return. Very professional and honest. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

My old shower handle wore out and broke, of course at the most inconvenient time. I couldn’t get the water to turn off! I did what I could to stabilize the situation by turning the main water to the house off, but the full fix was beyond what I can do myself.

I loved that dispatch was straightforward with me, that they would do their best to send Matt again, but that if he would not be available in a reasonable amount of time that they might send somebody else out.

I got lucky and Matt was available. I needed to replace a worn out shower fixture cartridge.

My favorite thing about having Matt work on my house, is he is really amazing at fully explaining what he does and why he does it.

Trust is exactly what I can count on with Matt. Honesty and integrity. The pricing was reasonable and fair, and I am just glad that I don’t need to go to plumbing school myself to fix things in my house. Also, this particular repair came with a 2-year warranty, which is totally worth what I need out of it.

At some point I’ll be remodeling the entire bathroom, and I will be trying to ask for Matt when I need help. Plumbing is not something that I want to play around with if I don’t know what I’m doing, and I can count on Preferred to help me with both big and small jobs.

I will constantly be recommending Matt and Preferred Home Services to friends and family and businesses. Thanks again so much Matt S!

On 7/7/26 one of the AC units that Preferred installed in my rental property ~5 years ago stopped working. Preferred was able to get a technician to me the next morning, even though I wasn't currently enrolled in their maintenance plan. Their text/notifications process/system is top notch. Ola the technician was fantastic! Personable, knowledgeable, and very professional - thanks so much Ola! I think some people feel like the post-service reports that Preferred provides is some sales tactic to get you to buy more stuff/services from them. I don't feel that way in the least - I think they are doing right by providing (unknowing) homeowners like me with all of the options on how to best maintain their systems; along with honest feedback on the cost-benefit analysis of doing the repairs. I'm now enrolled in their maintenance program and am convinced it is a MUST for most every homeowner, especially rental property owners/landlords. I hope to have Ola back in the coming weeks to complete a few of the additional repairs her recommended.

Today we had Ola come out to consult on HVAC issues we were experience in our new house. I have never had a contractor come into my home who was as professional, kind, or who ensured that the client was adequately informed and educated on the issues at hand. I now have an actual understanding of the way my system is supposed to work and how. This has made me more confident in making financial decisions to improve my home. I’m super impressed and grateful for Ola, who represents his company with distinction.

He comes on time, is respectful of my home and just simply a pleasant person .

He’s thorough and efficient. I usually don’t add extra things to my system, but this time he explained the “biological issues” in my attic and consequences if it’s not addressed without pressuring me. I’m going ahead with an air purifier to help!

Our air conditioner broke about 3 weeks ago. We were to busy to get it fixed right away. We put a shout out on Angie's list and they were the first ones that called. Everyone from the initial evaluation, project manager, and installers were so nice and pleasant. Will definitely be using them for other needs as they arise.

We're new Preferred Home Services Customers, but we'll be regulars for a long time. We had an 18 year-old HVAC unit in a downtown condo we'd recently purchased. Of course it decides to fail on the Friday before a long holiday weekend. PHS had a tech out to assess within hours, and we had a new crew arrive 1st thing Monday AM to replace the entire unit (Inside blower + outside condenser). Every member of the PHS team was thoroughly professional and I'm very glad I reached out to them first. Highly recommend!

I’ve had these folks out for 3 separate services in the last 8 months: once for plumbing (sink install) and twice for HVAC repair (I have 2 units). I have been happy with their attentiveness and service. I especially appreciate the text w photo of the technician that will be arriving.

We called about our air conditioner. They gave us an appointment for the next day. Ben came, repaired, spoke about the unit. We couldn't have asked for a more conscientious or knowledgeable individual. Very impressed with Ben's courteous manner.

My HVAC stopped cooling yesterday. I called Preferred this morning. Justin was dispatched to me once he finished with another client. He was able to fix multiple issues with my system and identified items that will need to be addressed in the future. Our AC went out at night during a stretch when the temperature close to 100. The next day we had a technician, Shawn, to our home before noon. He was outstanding. Problem was diagnosed, all options explained very clearly and he fixed our AC within about an hour. He was very personable and professional and I was very impressed with his service, as well as the service of the company in general. Highly recommend!!

We have a home warranty covering most repairs. We called them about a clogged toilet. After a couple hours, they said a plumber could come in three days. We cancelled the request and called Preferred. Preferred came the next morning, a Saturday.

I wrote the company today about an issue from my last visit and Shannon called me within (literally) 5 minutes.
