Bryson is a great guy ! Great customer service.

Bryson came out cleaned out line and repaired long term damage. Very friendly and professional.

Bryson came to assist with our kitchen faucet leak. He was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained to us what had happened that caused the leak. He worked up a quote for us and made sure we understood. He never seemed annoyed or in a hurry to finish the job even though it was getting late. Although I'm not sure whether we paid a reasonable price, I can speak to his customer service being exceptional and that alone can make the difference in feeling good about the price you pay.

The service tech was great! So thankful for his help.

A tree fell and crushed my outside unit. It was only 6 months old. I called Preferred and they came out by midafternoon. LD worked very hard to at least get me ac until a new unit could be installed. I felt like I was treated like family. He went out of his way to help me even calling in sales for a new unit. Earl showed up around an hour later and was fortunate to get a new unit the next morning. Dustin Cooper was here early and had it up and running in just a few hours with a brand-new system. They entire disaster was eased by Preferred staff who worked to get me a resolution. Amazing.

Preferred has always performed above and beyond. They do the job right the first time. The price is explained up front and there are no surprise additions. I will stay with Preferred going forward.

Lightning strikes last week left me with 3/4 breakers and surge protector needing replacement. Tony M (2nd visit to me) and Van were on time, checked the breaker panel, and took care of the issues quickly. Then checked each outlet inside and out to be sure there were no surprises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After a great experience with Preferred Home Services installation of a tankless water heater and whole house water filter system, we called them to clean and service our air-conditioning units. The technician that came out, Ben was very pleasant, professional, and described everything that he did and what needed to be done. This is a professional and well run company.

Both Dennis and Gabe were professional and communicated well, letting us know what they needed to do and explaining how they were going to do it. I also want to give a huge shout out to Tara who facilitated our purchase and, although it took several months to complete the sale due to issues with the sale of our house, she never pressured us to get the deal done. Thank you to a great team.

LB came on time, was professional and thoroughly checked out our system, then fixed it! Could not have asked for a nicer person, who came out in the heat and humidity.

I called Preferred Home Services Wednesday evening. Our Technician Jonathan showed up Thursday morning. Great response time. Jonathan was outstanding, explaining everything and the next steps. He made sure he didn't make a mess when sawing through our wall board. By laying down his drop cloths all dust an debris was captured. He left the area spotless. Very happy with the service and will reach out to them again if I need to. Thanks Jonathan!

Rapid response to a sudden water heater failure. Immediate return of initial phone call; tech (Johnathan) arrived a short time later. Ordered a new heater, which was delivered and hooked up by John in a timely manner.
Time from initial call to finished installation of the new water heater was approximately 6-hours..!!!

We called Preferred Home Service the morning of 8/17 and explained our situation of lighting strikes in the area damaging our water heater Sunday evening, which they responded in a timely manner setting up a service order. That same day, they called to let us know that the technician was on his way. Alec arrived shortly afterwards and he did a great job. He was friendly, professional, provided the information necessary for us to make a decision to replace our water heater. We did so and had hot water that afternoon. We appreciate Preferred Home Services and Alec for taking care of us. I would recommend this company should you need service as we had a great experience.

We have used Preferred Home Services for several years now and have always had an excellent experience. Their technicians are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and we truly couldn’t recommend them more!

Most recently, Corey came out when we were having an issue with our system, and he was fantastic. He was incredibly efficient, respectful, and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the problem and had it repaired within about 30 minutes! We really appreciated his professionalism and how quickly he got everything back up and running.

We've had a leaking pipe for the past couple months that could have caused foundation issues. The technicians showed up within an hour of me requesting services. They quickly diagnosed the issue and got right to work fixing it. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. We’ll be using preferred home services again!

Patrick was very professional and courteous. He resolved my breaker issues very quickly and efficiently. His knowledge of electrical work is amazing for a young man. He let me know exactly what he needed to do and kept me informed of everything he was doing. Living in an older home, I have had quite a few issues that needed addressing, and for the most part I've been disappointed in both the workmanship and knowledge other companies have. Patrick was amazing and restored my faith in service providers. I have used this company several times before and will always call them before anyone else when I have a home repair problem. Austin was here earlier this year to work on my HVAC system, and he was wonderful, too. Preferred Home Services knows how to hire quality people. I highly recommend them.

Chris Clifton (comfort advisor for Preferred Home Service ) came to our house to put in a new zone in our HVAC. He was fantastic. Explained all the actions that were required. What the new damper did and how it affected the other side of the house couldn’t have asked for a better person very personable, knowledgeable and respectful , always called me Mr. which makes me feel old (lol ) but I’d recommend Chris for any job that Preferred performs and the company, Preferred Home Services for anyones HVAC needs! After finding out we had several water leaks under our house, We called Preferred, We had Bryan come the same day, that afternoon He located our problem, show us on video, And gave us three options to get repairs done, After speaking with him, We felt confident in repairing the whole house & yard at this stage, We had a absolute wonderful and professional team show up the next morning 8:00 am ready to replace the whole house water lines were done, They were all through our home, And was so polite and professional, enjoyed the company, along with the work being done, The job was completed in 5 hours the whole house and yard hook up's! The team was Chris, Bryan, Garrett, Mac, Porter, Issac! They were a wonderful team of young men! The whole experience was joyable! This is the 4 or 5 times use Preferred For major job's & we'll always call them! Thank you all for a Great job!

Ola was very detailed and thorough with his inspection and describing everything that needed to be done with my HVAC unit, etc... I could not afford everything that needed to be done but he was wonderful in describing the highest priority items and what may happen down the line.

Prior visit:
Mario and Khalid were amazing. They came in and installed 2 toilets and a new hot water heater in one day. They always made sure I knew what they were doing when they were doing it and had me look everything over once they were finished. They were professional and courteous. They're appreciated!

Out upstairs AC went out and we were able to get a tech to come out and repair the unit in less than 18 hours over the weekend. The technician noticed our 2nd unit was about to have the same issue, so we were able to proactively get that taken care of. Extremely happy with this experience.

Took care of my disconnect AC..arcing caused major warping. Probably a bad connection. While not safe it would most likely shutdown the unit when it faulted..which by the looks of it might very well have been soon. Preferred is my maintenance program provider and they got this done right away. Thanks Adam!

Bryson did an amazing job on our new water heater installation. It’s great to see clean, professional work from a young guy who cares his craft.

After the installation, we noticed there was hot water refilling the toilet. He came back right away and figured out the issue was from the previous homeowner’s backwards plumbing, not his work. He walked me through exactly what happened with photos and even showed me in the crawl space so I could see it myself. He made the fixes, and everything looks great now. We really appreciate his honesty, promptness, and skills! I highly recommend the company as well as Bryson.

Garrett came by my house to fix an AC issue. He was very professional kind explain the process to me. He Figured out the Problem and even though it wasn’t the easiest solution who was able to get it cleared and my AC back running within an hour and wrote out of game plan for some maintenance my system will need in the future will be using Home Preferred again!!

Thank you Steven and Adam first and foremost! I was a nervous wreck with all that transpired during the early stages of the process. Replacing a major portion of drainage pipe 8’ deep, and watching firsthand was the most stressful thing I’ve ever seen, especially it being my yard unearthed to do so. There was a lot of confusion, some miscommunication, a wknd of crying, and much uncertainty, but as I mentioned above, Steven and Adam took over the job for which I know GOD sent them here, and I still thank him for that! Amen. Although nerve rattling, and much worry for such a major project, I thank Preferred Home Services for having Steven and Adam on their team for they deserve the 5 stars for sure.

I thought I could make a new post, but I couldn’t, and it was a good post until… so I’m adding. Both technicians, Becca, and Dennis. I had a whole different review just the other day, and it was a great experience until I realized my HVAC is no longer blowing cold air. Short story: So I had my sewer replaced, they had to tear up my sidewalk, it was a mess, still is! The replacement is a cheap job, but whatever at this point. I said I won’t deal with preferred anymore. Well they charged me for the “preferred Svcs” $240. Said so I’d get a discount on the sewer job, anyway they contacted me to do my “tune up”. I ignored the 1st time, because of my experience with them, Justin especially 😡 but this time I said okay! Well BIG mistake having both plumbing, and HVAC come at the same time. I followed Dennis, and Becca the HVAC person was doing his thing. Everything Dennis said was fine, plumbing had some issues with piping, but nothing crazy. HVAC said the dual purpose capacitor wasn’t too bad, had time/Spring to get done, blower had some dust, Becca said I’m good. I donated some cans for their drive, Becca stood in my house and we talked, my mom even joined in. Come yesterday I cut the air down and it’s not working, no cold, no pressure, just fan air. Temp was on 80-82. I was busy, in and out yesterday, so around 6 I’m like damn it’s hot, mom is saying it’s hot, and she’s needing her oxygen to move around the house? So here’s where I revamp my revamped post: Becca came back and realized the breaker was still in the off position 😔 so before ringing my bell Becca already fixed it. Thank you so much BECCA for realizing the mishap, and it being a quick fix. I so much appreciate all that you have done for me with explanation, and showing pictures to me as well. I look forward to you returning by spring to replace what needs to be replaced. Our conversation today was lovely, and again you are exceptional, and good at what you do. I can’t thank you enough for having air once again. You are who I prefer to do the work needed, and if you’re not available I’ll be sad 😞. I had a great experience with Kyle. He came out to replace a faulty electrical socket and safely disconnect the power to my shed so I could begin demolition. From start to finish, he was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Revlon , my technician, was friendly, helpful kind, and efficient. He was very knowledgeable and educated me on water heaters after unclogging 2 shower drains and increasing water pressure in my faucets by removing the aerators.

Preferred Home Services turned an HVAC disaster on James Island into a brand new system in less than 36 hours. I’d recommend them to anyone!

...and then, two months later, I called Preferred again on a Saturday afternoon when all of our faucets suddenly stopped working. Joe the plumber had us up and running again with a new shut-off valve in few hours. Google won't let me give 5 stars again, but if I could, I would. Ten stars!
